Who I Am

About Me

Hi, I'm Nihaar Batla, a final-year electrical engineering student at UBC Okanagan with a strong interest in analog and digital circuit design, embedded systems, and building practical hardware solutions.

My academic experience has given me a solid foundation in circuit design, programming, and prototyping. Through coursework and team-based projects I've learned how to move from a concept to a working system — combining analysis, testing, and iteration. I'm especially drawn to work that sits at the intersection of hardware and software, where measurable performance and system integration matter.

During my time at UBC Okanagan I've contributed to projects that sharpened both my technical and professional skills, from designing and testing full hardware prototypes to working in multidisciplinary teams and documenting technical work for a variety of audiences. These experiences taught me persistence, structured problem-solving, and the value of design decisions grounded in real constraints.

Looking ahead I'm particularly interested in the semiconductor industry and circuit design, where I can contribute to developing efficient, high-performance electronic systems at the intersection of hardware and real-world application.
